About Making Mindful Moments
Come along to a relaxed and informal session exploring how creativity can support you in experiencing mindful moments and learn how that experience can support you in building a regular, even daily, mindfulness practice.
There will be simple, mindfulness and breathing exercises to calm the mind and settle the body, a little busting of the “ I can’t draw” and “I’m not creative” myths (because you can and you are!) and time to experiment with mark making, scribbling and shape doodling amongst other things
No previous creative experience required and if you haven’t picked up drawing stuff since you were wee but want to try we can absolutely work on that with you.
Handout on mindfulness and all creative materials will be provided along with light refreshments.
