For this History Cafe session, we have no topic. This will be an open discussion on local history in the Old County of Renfrew - we can talk about anything covering East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and Renfrewshire admisistration areas.
From the 1st of September we are introducing a booking fee of £5 for the Family History and Local History Cafes that are held in Blend at Paisley Arts Centre. The booking fee is not for the Urban Historian, but instead will be a donation to the Beatson Cancer Charity (BCC). After fees around £4.92 will be given to the BCC for each booking (around 29.52 a month or £177 every 6 months).
The September session of our History Cafe series will again be held in Blend @ Paisley Arts Centre (15 New St, Paisley PA1 1EZ) between 10 and 11.30am on Saturday 20th September.
We like to support our hosts by purchasing drinks, etc, while we are there.
You will receive an automatic email when you book and a further email just before the event confirming locations, etc.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
