Repair Fair in Renfrewshire
On Saturday 18th October, RenCAN Hub will host a Repair Fair in The Wynd Centre in Paisley, featuring a Repair Cafe, workshops, family activities and tea & coffee!
About Repair Fair in Renfrewshire
Programme:
10am - 1pm
Gryffe Repair Cafe: We fix it so you don’t have to ditch it! Come along to our Repair Cafe and bring your broken stuff. Our amazing volunteers will try to repair your items so that we save money, learn new skills and throw away less. We can repair clothes and textiles, electricals, homeware and bikes.
10am - 2pm
- Mending, darning and embroidery workshop led by ReMode:'s experienced tutors.
- Halloween Costume Swap: Bring along your unwanted costumes and have a rummage for new ones!
- Rainbow Turtle will run family-friendly activities.
- Weaving Song Workshop (1-2pm): Rebecca Maria Morris will introduce you to some traditional local weaving songs
Come for all or some of it!
