Renfrewshire Council and partners are running a week long public information programme for residents in the Seedhill area.

Renfrewshire Council and partners including the police, the fire& rescue service, Williamsburgh Housing Association and the NHS will be offering a week-long programme of information and advice to residents in the Seedhill area.

The initiative aims to provide people in the community with information on antisocial behaviour, health and wellbeing, environmental issues and home safety.

Residents who would like advice on a wide range of issues such as noise nuisance, dog fouling, childrens' and adults' health and safety in the home, are encouraged to come along.

Advisers from main local services will be available at the Renfrewshire Safe Bus which will be at the following locations between 12pm and 4pm:

Wed 9 September – Lacy Street/ Seedhill Road
Thurs 10 September – Lang Street/ Ladyburn Street
Fri 11 September – Cochrane Street/ Bank Street
Mon 14 September – Kilnside Road / McKerrell Street
Tues 15 September – Howard Street / Dunn Street
Wed 16 September – Clarence Street / Crossflat Crescent

Councillor Eddie Devine, convener of Renfrewshire Council’s Environment policy board, said:

“This initiative is about bringing together a wide range of services provided by the council and its community partners.

"By making these services available to residents within the Seedhill community, we can make sure people understand the wide range of support that we can provide.
“I would encourage any local residents who need advice or information to come along.”
