What’s Our Story? is a six week campaign asking everyone in Paisley and Renfrewshire to have their say and tell the world what makes us special. It gives us the chance to tell visitors why they should spend their time here and why businesses should choose to locate here. Paisley’s bid to be UK City of Culture 2021 gives us all a unique opportunity to tell the untold story of our region.
Your story could be in the form of a postcard from the future, a photograph, a poem or a drawing. It could be an idea about a new place where arts or entertainment happens. It could be a story of your family history that’s never been told. It could be a big show, idea or event that you’d like to see come to the town and be part of as part of Paisley’s bid to be UK City of Culture 2021. Every story and every idea is important.
There are so many ways to get involved:
• submit your story today
• use #MyStoryMyTown on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and your story will be pulled onto the social wall
• pick up a postcard and post it in one of the collection boxes in locations throughout Renfrewshire
Your stories will help bring Paisley and Renfrewshire to life, especially on the lead up to or during 2021.
So get involved and let’s tell our untold stories to the world!
