Following phenomenal demand last week, with 120,000 tickets sold in 24 hours, itison announced it’s adding an additional seven nights onto Elfingrove – the Christmas spectacular taking over Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum this December.
Dates for Elfingrove have been extended to run from the 5th December – 5th January after unprecedented demand for the inaugural event (excluding 24th – 26th Dec and 31st Dec – 2nd January).
Tickets for the new dates will be released tomorrow, Tuesday 8th October at 12noon exclusively at www.itison.com/elfingrove
Oli Norman, CEO of itison and creator of Elfingrove, who is investing £1million in the event said: “The response to Elfingrove has been phenomenal - we asked people to believe – and they have, we’re excited to be releasing new dates to keep up with huge levels of demand!
“The show is shaping up to be nothing short of epic with an even more magical twist after Christmas, so it’s a brilliant way to fill those days of Christmas limbo!”
Described as Night at the Museum, meets GlasGLOW at Christmas, Elfingrove will now run every evening from 5th December through to the 5th January (excluding 24th – 26th December and 31st Dec – 2nd January). The world class production will transform the city’s most loved museum into a spectacular Christmas show with a spell-binding night-time tour of the museum, where inhabitants come to life and an ancient secret is finally revealed. All you have to do is believe.
Tickets for the new dates go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday 8th October at 12noon exclusively on www.itison.com/elfingrove, with new tickets priced at:
• Adult off peak - £15.50 (Mon – Thurs)
• Adult peak - £18.50 (Fri - Sun and 23rd Dec to 5th Jan)
• Child off peak - £10.50 (Mon - Thurs)
• Child peak – £12.50 (Fri – Sun and 23rd Dec to 5th Jan)

With timeslots every 15 minutes from 5.30pm to midnight there’s something for all ages – with inspiration from iconic Christmas movies like Elf, it’s family friendly but definitely not just for the kids, making a brilliant date night or family get together and with new dates after Christmas, tickets will make the perfect stocking filler for the Christmas fanatic in the family.
itison will also be creating E.L.F – The Elfingrove Legacy Fund – giving back to the local community and donating 1000 tickets to good causes across the city.
