With an amazing location on the banks of Loch Lomond, Loch Lomond Shores offers a great place for landscape and nature-focused amateur photographers to take amazing and inspiring pictures of this iconic Scottish loch and its surroundings. Which is exactly why Loch Lomond Shores is again hosting a photography competition inviting local visitors to capture a winning photograph.
The competition will run from 18th October until 19th November and during this time, amateur photographers are invited to come along and take photographs anywhere at Loch Lomond Shores and of any piece of nature or landscape to then submit these for the chance to win a great prize.
It’s fun, it’s outdoors and it’s something that all the family can take part in. You can choose your image from iconic views of the loch, beaches, woodland, wildlife, bugs or anything that takes your fancy. All we ask is that you get creative!
There are two categories for the competition – under 16 and over 16.
The prize for the Under 16 competition is 2 child tickets for Treezone where the winner can have a great time ‘hanging out’ with a friend which is valid during their 2022 season and an annual family season ticket for The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre valid from December 2021 to December 2022.
The prize for the over 16 competition is a £200 voucher for Loch Lomond Leisure 2022 season where they can use the voucher for their watersports/paddlesports. The lucky winner will also receive an annual family season ticket for The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre valid from December 2021 to December 2022.
Commenting on the competition, Audrey Calder from Loch Lomond Shores says: “We had a fantastic response last year and were blown away by the talent of those who entered! So, it was obvious that we had to do it again so we could showcase more talent and enjoy even more amazing images.
“The competition is an ideal way of giving people another great reason to keep spending time outdoors this autumn and appreciate nature here at Loch Lomond Shores.
“Our unique location within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, along with easy access to all our facilities, means we can offer visitors, including those with young families and those who have difficulties with mobility, the stunning views and great outdoor adventures that will make this autumn fun and safe.”
Entries to be uploaded in our photography competition section at www.lochlomondshores.com no later than Friday 19th November along with contact details and category ie. Under 16 or Over 16. Our panel of judges will make their decision on winners no later than Friday 26th November.
