In line with the new guidelines, a number of non-essential retailers and hospitality venues will reopen at the site. These include the likes of TGI Friday’s, Nando’s, Pizza Express and Five Guys, where customers can enjoy inside dining. Lord of The Isles is a great option for those wanting to have a drink Al Fresco.
Alongside Evans Cycles, which has remained open as an essential retailer throughout the pandemic, many of the newly rebranded centre’s other non-essential retailers will reopen including popular stores like Tog 24, Trespass and Ellis Brigham.
A number of safety measures will remain in place throughout the site, including the requirement to wear face coverings indoors, hand sanitisation points and restrictions on visitor numbers.
The full list of all retailers and hospitality that will reopen on 26 April are as follows:

All experiences will remain closed until 17 May with the exception of Gravity which will be opening on the 26 April. In line with the Government’s roadmap for further easing of lockdown measures.
Commenting on the site’s reopening, Bruce Harley, centre manager for XSite Braehead, said: “Following the latest Scottish Government’s announcements moving Scotland to level three, we are really excited to be able to welcome customers back and remind them of the incredible experiences XSite Braehead has to offer.
“Our visitors can once again enjoy some excellent dining choices. For those eager to dine out, tables are already booking up quickly, so I’d urge those looking to visit to book their favourite restaurant early via the individual restaurant’s websites. It’s also worth remembering that you can only dine in groups of six with no more than six individual households.
“Our team and stores will be doing everything they can to ensure the safety of our customers, and a number of measures remain in place. These include limits on groups of people, regular temperature checking of staff, reduced touchpoints, thorough cleaning schedules of the building, mandatory face coverings and hand sanitiser stations throughout.”
Although much of the centre is reopening this month, further changes will be seen on 17 May when Scotland plans to move to Level two when all cinemas and amusement arcades can reopen.
Bruce added: “We’ve heard from many of our staff and customers who are eagerly awaiting the next phase of the easing of lockdown restrictions. I for one cannot wait to see many more of our attractions, shops and restaurants reopen their doors so that we can return to doing what we love and our customers can enjoy a well-deserved day out.
“The future of the centre looks very bright, particularly as we’ve been working on lots of exciting plans following our rebrand last year. Watch this space for more information in the coming weeks and months.”
