The IRN BRU Carnival returns for another year of fun and action!
Thousands of adventure seekers and fun goers are booked to visit The IRN-BRU Carnival, as the event thrills families and friends from across the west of Scotland!

The annual event got off to a great start, with representatives from community groups across Glasgow and the Central Belt making use of over 1000 free tickets to enjoy the opening day. The tickets were awarded to charities and community organisations earlier this year to spread some festive cheer and to make sure the IRN-BRU Carnival was enjoyed by as many people as possible.
They were joined by two unicorns, Princess and Tinkerbell, from The Unicorn Experience, who attended on opening day to spread some early Christmas magic.
With more than 65 rides and attractions, the IRN-BRU Carnival has something for everyone. From the thrill of the Sticky Wall or the Waltzers, the action of the Dodgems or the dizzy heights of the Star Flyer, older children will be delighted with the choice of rides. There is also plenty for younger members of the family to enjoy including the Mini Pirate Boat to the Frozen Family Coaster to name just a few.
The event’s regular Autism Friendly Sessions have also returned on Tuesday 10 January (4pm-9pm). These sessions offer visitors with autism and other sensory processing disorders and their families and carers the chance to enjoy a festive day out in a more relaxed setting. During these sessions the main hall lights will be on, and the music turned off or very low. Where possible, rides will run a little slower (although their lights will still be on) and quiet areas will be available at the event.
Greg Cherry, managing director of QD Events who runs the IRN-BRU Carnival said: “After two years of disruption due to Covid we are absolutely delighted to be back with a bang. Our ride operators are all geared up to put on a great show for visitors with some of the most thrilling and exciting rides out there. Even from the first few hours we can tell this year is going to have a brilliant atmosphere with most people returning for the first time in three years. Demand for tickets has been high as people look to make Christmas 2022 one to remember and that’s why we’re encouraging people to book in advance so they aren’t disappointed.”
Standard entry tickets are available from £18.50 with discounts available for groups, concessions and Young Scot card holders, and kids under three go free. Advance booking is strongly advised – book by 2359 the day before your visit to save.
