Thistles & Tykes, a new immersive role play village and soft play in Renfrew has officially opened its doors to the public with their instagrammable venue that encourages young children to explore, play, and socialise.
Thistles & Tykes is conveniently located in the heart of Renfrew, just 5 minutes from Braehead Shopping Centre and will aim to bring a fresh, modern take on soft play with their aesthetically pleasing pastel colours, award winning coffee and cakes and Instagrammable touch points.
The new role play village will offer a fantastic mix of fun and physical activity, from a slide to mini obstacle courses aimed at children walking-7 years old. In addition to these features, the venue will include mini-themed rooms that will offer unique, immersive play experiences for younger children. These mini-rooms will transport little ones into their favorite environments, with themed areas like a mini Supermarket, Vet and Laundrette, where they can role-play and use their imagination in a fun, hands-on way.
The spacious facility ensures that children can enjoy hours of entertainment, while parents can relax in chic, comfortable seating areas, with offerings from Thomsons Coffee and the multi award winning Three Sisters Bake and Wi-Fi available on-site.
The venue which is the brain child of entrepreneur Amanda Bishop will also be offering themed birthday party packages and SEN (special educational needs) sessions which will provide quieter play opportunities with a calmer environment and softened lighting.
Commenting on the opening founder Amanda said: “We have been blown away by the support already from parents booking in, we couldn’t believe it when we checked and our opening day sessions were all full! As a mum of a toddler myself I wanted to create an environment that was first and foremost nice for the kids, but also where mums could have a nice coffee and a home made cake in a clean, appealing space.
We really hope to become a destination for parents and we are super excited to officially be open!”
