The council, in partnership with Scotland Loves Local, is giving away Renfrewshire gift cards worth £250 each to 12 lucky winners across the area.
To enter the competition, all you need to do is complete the online entry form, or pick up and complete a competition entry postcard in OneRen libraries.
The Renfrewshire Gift Card is easy-to-use and makes sure your money is spent locally – supporting local businesses with every purchase.
Entries to the competition close at 12 noon on Friday 15 December with Renfrewshire’s Provost, Lorraine Cameron, drawing the winners at random on Monday 18 December.
Renfrewshire Council Leader Iain Nicolson said: “Around 70p in every pound spent locally stays in the local economy, so this year we are encouraging everyone to Spend Local where they can and support the fantastic local traders across Renfrewshire.
“The Renfrewshire Gift Card can be used in over 130 participating businesses, and we really do have some great retail and hospitality offerings to choose from.
“I’m delighted we are partnering with Scotland Loves Local to run our festive giveaway this year, and I hope residents will consider purchasing Renfrewshire Gift Cards for their loved ones this Christmas.”
