Founded in 1974, Sterling Home has grown from a single store in Tillicoultry to a nationwide brand with six stores in Tillicoultry, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Uddingston, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
To mark its 50th birthday, Sterling Home is running a range of special promotions in stores on both Saturday and Sunday and inviting customers to join the celebrations.
Throughout the weekend, customers can take advantage of several exciting offers:
• Win an Overnight Stay at Stobo Castle – one lucky customer will win a luxurious overnight stay for two at Stobo Castle, Scotland’s only destination spa.
• Spin-to-Win Wheel – spend £50 or more in-store and spin the wheel for a chance to win prizes such as Stressless chairs, Hypnos mattresses, Le Creuset cookware, Denby dinnerware, rugs, and more
• Goody Bags – the first 10 customers in each store who spend less than £100 will receive a special goodie bag containing a selection of treats.
• £50 Gift Cards – the first 10 customers spending over £100 in each store will receive a £50 gift card as a reward for their purchase
• Kids Eat Free – for families visiting The Mill Café in Tillicoultry, children can enjoy a free meal with the purchase of any adult main meal, pizza, or baked potato
Sterling Home was founded by George Knowles who converted an old mill in Tillicoultry into a home furnishings store, inspired by the success of out-of-town retail parks in the United States.
Still family-run today, the business has ambitious plans for continued growth, including opening several new stores across Scotland, starting with a major new 50,000 sqft Sterling Home store in Hillington, Glasgow, early next year.
Euan Graham, Marketing and Digital Director at Sterling Home and grandson of founder George Knowles, said: “We are thrilled to celebrate this important milestone with our family of customers across Scotland.
It’s been an incredible journey for us as a business and this weekend is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. This Saturday and Sunday, we’re inviting our customers to come into our stores, join in the celebrations and take advantage of our exciting offers.”
