Our popular Frozen-themed family rollercoaster returns loch-side this year to not only give thrills, but also great views and joins our other children’s funfair rides to add to the fun. New for this year is our giant snow globe where families can get some festive-themed pictures and memories of a great day out.
Entertainment throughout will be on stage with a whole host of local talent performing. We’ll even be welcoming successful Scottish boy band Just the Brave on Sunday! Frozen characters will be providing both on and off-stage entertainment on Saturday, and we’ll have the Grinch and Elf on the Shelf as well as stilt walking and bubbles on Sunday.
The wide range of festival stalls will be full of fresh produce and great gift ideas, while our stores are stocked with everything you need to buy for family & friends and some fantastic Christmas outfits, as well as cosy clothing, footwear and bedwear.
For overexcited and tired children and their families, Jurassic Ice Venue, now available to hire for special occasions, will be offering a quiet and warm place to chill with some craft activities. There will be an option to buy a snack and a hot beverage in between festivities, while Jurassic Grill will be providing their usual delicious dino-dining experience. And, as a huge bonus, on Saturday they’re offering dinner with the Grinch at 6.30pm which has proved super popular and fun in previous years! Remember to book for Jurassic Grill as it’ll be busy all weekend – especially on Saturday evening! Meanwhile our cafes will be offering an abundance of snack and meal options, including a few festive options at Café Zest.
Santa will be at SEA LIFE that weekend but again, remember to book. However, you don’t need to book The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre, adventure golf, or simply to enjoy our playpark, beaches, woodland walks and browse our shops for gifts and treats. There will even be boat tours (weather dependent) courtesy of Loch Lomond Leisure so, if you fancy a boat ride, make sure to book on their website.
Audrey Calder from Loch Lomond Shores commented on the festival: “It’s definitely our favourite festival of the year as we get to enjoy bringing a bit of Christmas magic to all our festival goers and watch children have an amazing time.”
The festival runs from 10am to 5pm each day on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December and is FREE to come along and enjoy.
