About The Threads of Paisley Heritage Walk

Textiles! Paisley was once one of the largest textile producers in the world, be it through weaving woolen & linen cloth to the later famous Paisley Shawls, line, silk & Cotton Thread and many more related industries.

On this walk we start at Paisley’s weaving industry before setting off on a journey around the town discovering the remains of the textile industry in the town.
