Nature is slowly waking up and I feel the excitement of going out and stepping into the spring! Would you like to join me for a forage in the varied habitats of Boden Boo? I will be focusing on the plants that offer us the new growth in the forms of fresh leaves and shoots.
We will go for a short wander to see what edible plants we can meet. I will point out to various features for each plant to help with identification, give tips and advice on foraging safely and sustainably. Participants are welcome to taste and possibly collect in moderation and according to the plant availability on site. You will be sent a list of the plants we met afterwards.
After the walk we will sit and make a simple dish together that we can share!
Please note that I am limiting this experience to 8 people. The cost is £25 per person.
I will be bringing some identification books as well as bags for people to collect. I recommend you take samples as well as photographs, sketches and/or notes.
We will meet at the entrance near the car park at Boden Boo.
Do not hesitate to write to me if you have any questions: hello@naturesbeing.co.uk
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
