What do you know about witches in Paisley? You have probably heard of the last mass witchhunt in Scotland in 1697 – The Barrgarran Witchhunt that led to the execution of 7 People in Paisley on the 10th June 1697: But did you know that wasn't the last case in Paisley? Or that there were many before and another large one after it?
On this walk we will explore the myths and legends of the Bargarran Witchhunt, and discuss some of the other cases that occurred within Paisley rather than the rural area of the county.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
