July's Renfrewshire Ancestors Family History Cafe will explore Paisley's Poor Relief from the Church's point of view. Records dating back into the late 18th Century for the combined Paisley Session give an indication of the Income the churches received from their parishioners and how the money was distributed to the town's poor.
The July session of the Family History Cafe series will again be held in Blend @ Paisley Arts Centre (15 New St, Paisley PA1 1EZ) between 10 and 11.30am on Saturday 12th July.
This is a week later than usual due to Sma' Shot Day on the 5th July in Paisley Town Centre. Come and find our stall on Abbey Close on the 5th July....
The session is free, but we like to support our hosts by purchasing drinks, etc, while we are there.
