This course is intended for complete beginners who have never used a sewing machine before.
You will learn how to:
thread up a machine and fill a bobbin, pin and cut out a basic pattern,
make seams (plain/French), insert a zip, and hem a raw edge.
On this course you will have the opportunity to make four fabric items: face mask, cosmetic bag, tote bag and cushion.
What to bring: All materials and equipment are provided but if you have your own sewing kit you are welcome to bring it along.
It’s never too late to learn a new skill and using a machine is a lot easier than you might think.
Dates: 7-28 January 2021
Duration: 3 hours x 4 Lessons
This course runs all year round and evening courses are available on request (Minimum of 2 people).
Free refreshments provided.
