This workshop is ideal for individuals looking to take some time out to refocus, restore energy levels, learn how to take care of their own health and well-being, and reignite their inspiration and motivation for life. The day is informal, educational, and hopefully fun! Numbers are limited so please do book as soon as possible.
Attendance at the day includes all refreshments, a 2 course lunch, workshop handouts and notes. Topics include:
• The importance of self-care for health and well-being.
• Stress and how it affects our body systems.
• An introduction to mindfulness and how it can help.
• Relaxation, guided visualisation and the breath as effective stress management techniques.
• Aromatherapy and massage to aid relaxation.
• An introduction to emerging energy therapies you can use for self care including acupressure, sound and vibrational techniques you can use at home to encourage and support relaxation and well-being.
• An introduction to Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping).
• How diet can affect our ability to manage and cope with stress - simple changes that can make a big difference.
