Join us for a warm and cosy evening, bathing in the powerful magic of the gong. Dress up if you wish or wear your pyjamas…a cup of witches’ brew available afterwards
Sound Therapy is a gentle, full-body listening experience that enables a deeply relaxed and meditative state. The vibrations of the instruments resonate with the natural vibrations present throughout our whole body and induce a feeling of peace and serenity, allowing maintenance and repair to happen while we relax! Sound healing works at a cellular level, helping to unblock stagnant energy, giving our bodies and minds a chance to reset, repair and rejuvenate. It is one of the ancient therapies to be passed down through generations of healers from many different cultures. During a therapeutic sound session, participants ‘bathe’ in the sounds and vibrations produced by a range of traditional therapeutic instruments including:
Himalayan singing bowls
Gongs
Shakers
Flutes
Bells
Voice
Therapeutic sound sessions are an excellent way to let go of our worldly concerns and allow our bodies and minds to fully rest and benefit from the healing potential of these ancient instruments.
The benefits can be felt on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level and include:
Feeling calm and deeply relaxed in body and mind
Reduced stress and anxiety
Improved mood
Improved sleep
Relaxed muscles
Lower heart rate
Reduced muscle and joint pain
A feeling of clarity
Improved focus
An overall feeling of wellbeing and wholeness that will last way beyond the event!
Zoe gained her Advanced Sound Therapy Certification in the Himalayas where she learned traditional sound healing from Yogi Pokhrel in Kathmandu. Zoe is a fully qualified and insured Yoga Teacher/Therapist.
